Man Arrested in Binghamton Homicide Shooting

Binghamton Police have made an arrest for the shooting homicide that happened early Friday morning.

Police said Saturday they arrested 21 year old Trevis Johnson who has no  permanent address.

They charged him with Murder in the Second Degree of Sergio Beldo who was found shot dead at 30 Mather St. Friday morning. Johnson was arraigned in city court and sent to the Broome County Jail without bail.

Binghamton Police Cheif Zikuski said the investigation is continuing and more arrests are expected to be made. Anyone with any information is asked to call the Binghamton Police Detective Bureau at 607-772-7080.
