B-Sens Capt. Borowiecki ready to go

BINGHAMTON -- He spent the summer working on drills to improve his game. He had, in his opinion, his best preseason yet with the Ottawa Senators organization. He's feeling good, and he's your B-Sens captain, Mark Borowiecki.

Boro, as his teammates call him, was like a sponge in training camp and over the summer, practicing puck drills to improve his movement and make him more of an impact player on the ice.

At the team's media day Wednesday, the defenseman spoke about the importance of cutting down his penalty minutes but don't worry fans -- he's not afraid to fight if he has to.

Head Coach Luke Richardson also discussed the important role that Borowiecki holds, both as a skill player and intimidater.
