Jim Matthews Wins E.I.T. Bankruptcy Bid

Fox 40 News has learned exclusively that a company connected with the  Matthews family has won the bid for Endicott Interconnect Technologies.
The bidding on the assets of the bankrupt  E.I.T.  was scheduled for Tuesday.

Jim Matthews submitted the bid through Integrian Holdings, which he owns.
The Matthews family owns a controlling share of E.I.T.

This follows the announcement Monday that  the state was offering a 2.5 million dollar aid package  for any buyers who would ensure that they'd keep jobs and the business in Broome County.

Close to 600 people are still employed at the company, which declared Chapter 11 bankruptcy in July.
