Exercising to Raise Money for Mental Health Awareness

People came together on Saturday at Highland Park to exercise and help raise money for the Mental Health Association's Bell Hope 5k Run .

It was the 5th Annual Boot Camp Bonanza fundraiser hosted by Positive Life Force.

The park was filled with professional trainers and participants ready to enjoy fun workout challenges. P.l.F trainers say participants were able to enjoy a great workout while giving back to the community.

"It's great, I mean to get out to work out but you're helping yourself, your own body and feeling good. But then to know that you're doing something good for  a good cause. You definitely know you're working, but we're having a good time. It's a really laid back fun workout for us," Kelsey Newman, Positive Life Force Instrcutor, said.

P.l.F. is also walking in the Making Strides Breast Cancer Walk on October 19th at Recreation Park.
