The event was open to the public for viewing and tickets for the upcoming B-Sen's season were also available. Tours were also given along with a free tasting of the new food at the concession stands. Members of the arena staff say the new renovations will give the public a much better experience.

"Definitely the seats is the signature part of the project and the lighting too. it's gonna make a huge difference. And a new dash emboarding glass system that's going in right now is NHL approved... seamless glass that will give the fan a better expierience at the hockey games," said Anthony Capozzi, Manager.

The rennovations were paid for with a two million dollar grant. The overall goal of the project is to attract more events and people to the arena.
