Hanna Against Military Strike on Syria

On Tuesday, President Barack Obama addressed the nation on the crisis in Syria saying the nation should be prepared to take military action but that he would put no boots on the ground.

Congressman Richard Hanna says he understands the United States has certain responsibilities, but feels there are  ways to handle the crisis other than with a military strike.

He fears this action could cause more harm than good and says his constituents are bone tired of war.

"Afghanistan was supposed to be a short action so you can't tell me that we can predict the outcome, the duration or the extent of cost and involvement because we never have been able to before," said  Hanna.

Hanna says he's not against getting involved but doesn't think military action is the way to go.
