Railroad Electrocution Investigation Continues

The investigation continues into the circumstances leading up to the electrocution death of a Pennsylvania man earlier this week, while he was  working on the railroad on State Route 235 in Colesville...
39-year-old Thomas Tarchak of Simpson, Pennsylvania - - was conducting elevated train bridge measurements when the  bucket truck he was in came in contact with a NYSEG primary wire. 

Tarchak, who was an employee of the Canadian Pacific Railroad--is assumed to have died  after his  truck  became live with an electric current of 4800 volts.

NYSEG had to cut the  power before crews could bring the bucket down.
