Owner of Historic Diner Brings Sister Restaurant to Endicott

Not far from here on Route 17 in Sullivan County is the World Famous Roscoes Diner. It's  known for it's french toast and potato pancakes. And now owners are celebrating it's expansion into this area

This weekend was the grand opening of Roscoes Diner's sister restaurant Nadius located on Maine St. in Endicott. The owner and manager of Nadius told Fox 40 what the new opening has been like and what costumers can except on the menu.

"There's bunch of different breakfast specials. We have a lot of different eggs benedict variations and also sandwich variations drawing it on chicken sandwiches and hamburgers with just different toppings," owner Tom Niforatos said. "Coming from Roscoes to here it was obviously a dramatic change for me, a much bigger place than Roscoes... transit operation over here. You're dealing with the locals and it's a different type of operation," he added.

Manager Rick Keller said the restaurant is known for it's potato pancakes.

"Come and check out our freshly made potato pancakes which is so unique to Nadius," he said.

Roscoe's Diner was built in 1961 and was made famous by travelers going to and from New York City and the Southern Tier. it's one of the busiest restaurants on Route 17.
