Bikers Gather to Remember Boy Who Died

Bikers from all over the area gathered in Endicott Saturday to raise money for a good cause
Dozens of bikers revved their engines in memory of Dominick Torto of Windsor. Torto had Down Syndrome and passed away nine years ago  from Pneumonia when he was just sixteen years old. The bikers rode through New York and Pennsylvania. Torto's family said he loved trees and the outdoors. His sister Allie Torto said her family wanted to do something for the organizations that helped them through their difficult time.

"This is the first one that we're doing. We hope to have it continue annually from here on out, she said." We're looking for a good turnout. We have a lot of people here, a lot of donations that we really appreciate."

All proceeds from todays ride will go to the down syndrome information network and the ronald mcdonald house.
