Port Crane Man Receives 3rd DWI

The third time is not the charm for 43 year old Bill Brown of Port Crane.

The Broome County sheriff's office says Brown's SUV was stopped in the area of the Northgate Plaza on Upper Front St. early Sunday afternoon, following a complaint of erratic driving by a drunk driver.

Police say they determined that Brown was intoxicated.
Then they found that he had two previous DWI convictions within the past two years.
What's more, he's currently on probation for DWI, and his driver's license has already been revoked.
After taken in for processing, he refused a breathalyzer test.
Then he was taken to Broome County Jail, without bail, after arraignment.
