Tony Kornheiser "En-Joie"s his day at En-Joie

ENDICOTT -- On Wednesday, the Dick's Sporting Goods Open Pro-Am began, and despite some questionable weather conditions, pros and teammates alike still enjoyed the day.

Members of this weekend's field were paired up with local celebrities. The biggest name on the list? ESPN's Tony Kornheiser, whose local tie is that he's a graduate of what has become Binghamton University. Happy to be back in town, Kornheiser "En-Joie"ed his time on the Endicott course today.

"The course is great. It's green, it's lush, it's beautiful. We're getting to play with Dan Forsman who's a wonderful pro and a wonderful basic tour guide with us today. He's very affable and he's made this a really nice experience," Kornheiser said.

The TV personality also hammed it up for the camera, after hitting a tee shot he particularly liked on his team's final hole.

"You put a camera anywhere near me and I respond," he joked.

The Pro-Am continues Thursday with a double shot gun start. The first group tees off at 8 AM. The second group is at 1:30 PM.
