New Playground Equipment in West Endicott Park

No more splinters for the kids hanging out at West Endicott Park, because of the $75,000 dollars in new playground equipment.

The old equipment was 25-years-old and was becoming a safety hazard  according to Town of Union Supervisor Rose Sotak.

The 4,100 square foot park was paid for by a Community Block Grant.

As many as 135 kids can use the new equipment at the same time.

"It's a great little gem. It's very well kept. It's a great thing for the parents to come here, the mothers sit the dads. And everybody talks and it's just a wonderful facility," said Town of Union Supervisor, Rose Sotak.

The next addition being discussed for the park is more swing sets.
