Arrests Made in Chenango Bridge Larcenies

The Broome County Sheriff's office might have cracked the case involving the recent rash of larcenies from vehicles in the Chenango Bridge area.

Three individuals were arrested Monday, following a tip from an area resident who reported a suspicious vehicle in the area where items were stolen from cars.

18-year-old Damian Wilmarth of Chenango Forks, 24-year-old Zeke Wilmarth of Binghamton and 16-year-old James Wilson of Port Crane were all found inside the car.

Also inside the car, according to police, was lots of items that had been stolen from cars in recent weeks.  Among the goods: rifles,  magazines, ammunition, laptop computers, money, jewelry and prescription medication.

All are charged with possession of stolen property, and other offenses.
