We Ask Residents If Weiner Should Resign

Despite his sharp  drop in the polls,  former New York Congressman
Anthony Weiner continues his campaign to become the next mayor of New York City.

Recently,  Weiner admitted to three explicit online relationships-after he resigned from congress--because of  similar on-line sexting.

What's the thinking Upstate, about the Downstate scandal?

We went out on the streets Saturday to ask local residents, as well as a New York City voter if they think that too much has been uncovered for Weiner to continue with his campaign:

"You know you can ask yourself ethically if people are voting for just clearly issues or for the moral man." said Michael Lorin, Palm Springs,FL
"Bed room topics should have nothing to do with what's going on with our everyday lives." Zacharee George, Vestal Resident

"You do have to separate the personal life a bit from the professional but it does lay on him a bit. Personally, anything is better than Bloomberg. He's taken away our personal freedom in the name of protecting ourselves from ourselves and that's not what this country is all about." said Antonio Perez, a NYC resident

"I definitely think it's an interesting topic actually because a lot of politicians now are going through interesting aspects in their life. If he stepped down, it would not be unexpected" said Ashley Aupont, of Endicott.

"In today's society, morality is a lot less that it was before but you still need some morals,  and if he has any kind of anything about him he should really step out and save his family the embarrassment." said Mujheed Abdul-Mahied, a citizen of Trinidad.
