Less distraction for Jets in 2013

CORTLAND -- The offseason release of Tim Tebow and his subsequent signing by rival New England, not only alleviates some of the speculation surrounding the starting job at quarterback for the New York Jets, but it also allows the team to focus more on on-field issues.

The media circus that has accompanied Tebow where ever he went beginning in his Florida Gator days has now moved out of Jets camp.  As has the attention and drama that came with "Revis Island."

But, despite losing two high profile players, first year General Manager John Idzik says, that's not a bad thing.
