Willow Point Deals with Limited Air Conditioning

In this sweltering heat the last thing you want to have to go without is air conditioners.

Unfortunately, some residents at Willow Point Nursing Home had no choice.

On Tuesday,a pipe burst in the basement of the south building at Willow Point.

About three feet of water gathered in the boiler room, shorting out the HVAC unit that cooled the building.

Portable cooling units were brought in to the nursing home and residents were offered the opportunity to be moved to a building that had air conditioning.

But there was good news for the residents of the south building as a new system was expected to be delivered Friday,  and be fully functional by Monday.
