Motorcycle Ride Benefits Children of Fallen Soldiers

ENDICOTT  -- Motorcycle enthusiasts hit the road Saturday for a good cause.

Hundreds of local riders revved up their bikes for a 90 mile journey to raise money for children of fallen soldiers who served in Afghanistan or Iraq. The group started in Endicott, sped through several state highways into the Town of Marathon, and then returned to Endicott.

"It's a growing organization and it's great to help our soldier's kids. If a soldier gets killed, they need assistants and this is a great way to try to help the kids," said Gary Denmon, a member of the Legion.

In the past two years, the event has raised thousands of dollars for the Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund.
