BINGHAMTON -- Broome County Sheriffs have nabbed two people for drunk driving during the holiday week.

30-year-old Daniel Sorensen of Binghamton was arrested July 4th.  At about 11 pm, officers say they saw Sorensen's vehicle failing to stay in its lane of travel and traveling into the oncoming lane of traffic.  Once officers stopped Sorensen, he was found to be intoxicated.

Sorensen was issued several tickets and will appear in Town of Maine Court at a later date.

At 1:55 am Sunday morning, sheriffs responded to a report of a single car motor vehicle accident on Carman Road in Binghamton.  Officers found the driver to be intoxicated.  44-year-old Sandy Yezzi of Binghamton was arrested, and refused to submit a chemical breath test to determine her blood alcohol level.

Yezzi was issued several tickets and will appear in Town of Binghamton Court at a later date.
