Endicott Man leads Police on High Speed Chase

A wild, high speed chase through the Town of Union leads to aN Endicott man spending his holiday in the Broome County jail.

Sheriffs attempted to pull over an Oldsmobile on Main Street in Endicott. They say the driver, Samuel Crawford, 32, continued to drive recklessly and at a high rate of speed down the street, onto North Street, then ran the stop sign at South Knight and Brink Street.

They say he almost hit several vehicles before he pulled into a dead end and fled the vehicle on foot.  He was taken into custody with help from Vestal, Endicott and State police behind Barnaby's Restaurant on Main Street.

He is facing multiple charges.  Two passengers in the vehicle were also take into custody for questioning and were later released.
