Fire and Break-In at All-Star Auto

Vestal Police are continuing to investigate the fire and break-in at All-Star Auto on the Vestal Parkway.

When fire crews responded at 5:46 a.m. this past Sunday morning, it was determined that the business was broken into before the fire broke out, and that a vehicle was missing.

The other part of the story is that several hours earlier, police received a call about an intoxicated male who jumped from a vehicle which was traveling east on Route 17.

Authorities say the man turned out to be Christopher Stoudt, 32, of Towanda, Pennsylvania.

Police say they found him at home with the vehicle that had been stolen from the neighborhood near All-Star Auto.

Charges against Stoudt regarding both the fire and the burglary are pending.
