Pineda roughed up but ready for the Bigs

BINGHAMTON -- Friday night, New York Yankees starter Michael Pineda said he was expecting to go 85 pitches for his Sunday rehab start against the B-Mets and from there work up to 100 pitches across 5-6 innings.

Sunday however, did not according to the 6'7" 260 lb righty.  Just 67 pitches in three innings, as Binghamton tagged him for four runs, four hits, two of which were homers.  Pineda did strike out four, but also walked four.

Despite Sunday's rough start, Pineda told us Friday, he is ready and excited to make his Yankee Stadium debut.
