Police: Fatal Crash Result of Alcohol Intoxication

Police say the man killed behind the wheel during a head-on collision in Dryden had a blood alcohol level almost three times the legal limit.

State police say 22-year-old Isaac Miller of Freeville had a blood alcohol content of 2.3.  The legal limit in New York is 0.8.

Miller was killed after his 2002 Saturn drifted to the southbound lane and collided head-on with a tractor trailer on Route 13 at 2:43 Saturday morning.

The driver of the tractor trailer, Alexander Spagnola, was treated for minor injuries at the Cayuga Medical Center and released.
