Binghamton Mets Welcome Magic Paintbrush Project

BINGHAMTON -- It wasn't just a beautiful day, but a colorful day for the Binghamton Mets.

Saturday at NYSEG Stadium, Binghamton Mets players welcomed the Magic Paintbrush Project. Special needs families teamed up with some of the players for a sit down lunch, and a variety of games.
And the players were having just as much fun-- if not more than the kids.

"It just feels awesome, the smiles on their face is what really makes it for you.We really enjoy it and they seem to have a lot of fun. It feels really good helping these kids," said Pitcher for the Binghamton Mets Cory Mazzoni.

"I think it's going to be really fun because I haven't really been up close with the players," said Andrew Corbin.

One of Saturday's favorite games was paintball, which is a miniature version of baseball played with foam balls covered with paint.
