BCC Graduates 1285

Broome Community College said good bye to the class of 2013 Thursday evening.

Proud families and friends gathered at the Broome County Memorial Arena to see grads receive their diplomas.

"I can't believe I'm here. At the beginning I was like, 'Oh, I can't do it, too much commitment.' And now, it just seems like everything was well worth it," said graduate Christina Hust.

"I have to thank all my teachers at BCC, everyone that pushed me the extra mile to make me want to go to class, to make me want to learn more and help me out in getting where I am today," said graduate Scott Sasina.

"It's definitely a great place to start. Broome has given me a lot of opportunity and like I said, I met a lot of great people and I couldn't imagine my life any different," said graduate Robert Haskell.

Over 1200 diplomas were handed out to graduates ages 18 through 75.
