Carnevale Pleads Guilty to Lessor Charges

A Kirkwood woman who had her murder conviction overturned pled guilty Wednesday to lesser charges before her retrial.

23-year-old Ashley Carnevale pled guilty to charges of Manslaughter in the First Degree and Assault in the First Degree in the shooting death of Jean Clark.

Carnevale will serve 15 years in prison with five years post-release supervision.

Carnevale and her husband Anthony Carnevale shot Clark and seriously wounded Ethan Button while trying to steal prescription medicine from them.

Anthony Carnevale is already serving 25 years to life for the shooting.
