Korchak, Olsen lead Saints past Indians

BINGHAMTON -- Michael Korchak registered his 5th win of the season as Seton Catholic Central downed Owego Free Academy 4-2 Saturday at NYSEG Stadium.

Mark Marcili began things in the first inning for Owego with a double to left scoring Steve Rando.  Then it became a two run game in the 2nd when Ryan Miller scored on a passed ball.

But in the home half of the 2nd, Case Kane singled and Neil McCormack walked to bring Robert Olsen to the plate.  Not many people manage to hit an inside the park home run at NYSEG Stadium, but Olsen did just that.  His shot to right field rolled the wall and he motored around the bases and beat the close play at the plate, but the catcher never had full possession of the ball, and that gave the Saints a one run lead.

Korchak took over from there pitching a complete game, giving up just the two runs on four hits and striking out 11.
