Dog Abuse, Starvation in Colesville Leads to Arrest

In Colesville, two dogs dead, two others alive but emaciated all four, victims of starvation and neglect according to Broome County deputies.

30 year old Jason Lamoree, of Route 41, in the Town of Colesville is charged with Torturing and Injuring an animal, Abandonment and Neglect.

The Broome County Sheriff's Department says the two dead dogs were still chained to the rear of Lamoree's residence.

Two other dogs were locked in a kennel on the property.

Lamoree told authorities that he believe the dogs died in February or March, but wasn't sure because he hadn't checked on them in several months.
