Fracking Supporters Kicked out of Gasland 2 Premiere

NEW YORK CITY -- About a dozen local supporters of fracking were kicked out of the Sunday night premiere of Gasland 2 at the Tribeca Film Festival.

Director Josh Fox's much anticipated sequel to his 2010 film, Gasland, critical of the oil industry and of hydro-fracking.  Victor Furman of the Joint Landowners Coalition bought tickets but said he was booted out as soon as Fox recognized him.

"Josh Fox pointed us out to a security guard. He was standing there with Yoko Ono. I said we were not there to protest. They said it doesn't matter, we are not welcome there," said Victor Furman of the Joint Landowners Coalition.

Furman said the video of the whole thing was already uploaded on the Fracknation website. He said he expects it will be all over the internet by Monday.
