Quinnipiac Poll: Upstate New Yorkers Split On Fracking

When it comes to fracking-- upstate New York voters remain divided.  This according to the latest Quinnipiac University poll. 

The survey showed 45 percent of upstate residents polled support drilling because of its economic benefits while 46 percent oppose it because of environmental concerns.

According to the poll, 50 percent of upstate residents support a tax on natural gas drilling companies while 38 percent oppose it.
