B-Sens Getting Healthy, Practicing Harder
3/19/2013 (Updated 10:55:33 PM)BINGHAMTON -- The B-Sens are looking forward to this all-important playoff push because the team is getting several of its injured players back.
After practice on Tuesday, Head Coach Luke Richardson said things are looking good for Mark Borowiecki and that he could return to action this weekend:
"He skated again today with the guys who were injured and he will be practicing full-out tomorrow to see where he's at. I wouldn't be surprised to see him in with his compete level this weekend, but again we want to make sure we're very careful with him."
Corey Cowick discussed how having players come back increases intensity in practice, "Practice was good. We have lots of bodies here, guys coming back from injuries, a couple guys that are signed from college... so we're able to go a little more uptempo with the practices with more guys there."
Coach Richardson also said that Mike Hoffman will have a follow-up x-ray on his collarbone this week. Hoffman is currently listed as doubtful for this weekend but Coach has not completely ruled out his return.
