Roofing Company Celebrates Centennial

A local roofing company has reason to celebrate--after being in business for 100 years.
   
The Binghamton Slag Roofing Company celebrated it's centennial milestone on Thursday. The company is in it's fifth generation of family ownership. Those owners cut the ribbon on the second century of company operations.

"I am not the success story here, it's the multi-generation business attitude that has made it possible," said BRS President Charles Griffiths.

BSR has 100 employees and installs roofing for residential and commercial buildings.
