Law enforcement cracks down on Parade Day drunk drivers

Local law enforcement is reminding people who plan on drinking during tomorrow's parade to have a plan ahead of time.

"Every department in Broome County participates in our crackdown program. So you'll see multiple check points at times, you'll see a lot of extra saturation patrols, but we just want to remind people to have a plan to get to the parade safely and get home safely," said Stop DWI's Program Coordinator, Chris Marian.

Parade goers are urged to call a cab, take a bus, call a friend or, even walk if they have been drinking.
