Police: Man Jumps Out Window, Nabbed in Back Yard

It didn't do a Binghamton man any good to jump out a bedroom window when the law paid a visit, without knocking:

Broome County deputies were there to arrest Anthony Montgomery as a parole absconder, and they used a no-knock search warrant to do it.

As he fled from 36 Seminary Avenue in Binghamton, he was immediately captured by officers already positioned in the back yard.

Authorities say they then found him in possession of 10 envelopes containing suspected heroin.

He was on parole for Attempteed Possession of a Forged Instrument.
