Sayre Man Dead in Tractor Trailer Accident

A fatal motor vehicle accident early Tuesday morning leaves a Sayre man dead in the Town of Barton.
 
Officers arrived on the scene of the accident involving a tractor trailer and a pedestrian.  44-year-old Michael Naylor of Sayre was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say he was walking eastbound on State Route 17, and was hit by the tractor trailer, driven by 42-year-old Vincent Church of Colesville.  The investigation of the accident is ongoing.
