Group says Gun Legislation Can Lead to Loss of U.S. Sovereignty

Where is current gun control legislation leading?
 
According to the New York Chapter of Americans for Restoring the Constitution, it's leading to a number of consequences that not only threaten the us constitution--but the actually independence of the United States:

"Potentially, it's leading to a very significant restriction in gun ownership by law abiding citizens, potentially to an all-out ban. We also discussed some non-governmental organizations who are working with the UN to actually impose world-wide gun control, which would not only be violative of the second amendment but would also actually infringe on America's sovereign nation," says board member Jim Sacca, of the AFRTC.
 
The alarm was sounded tonight at the Vestal Library, during a meeting of the group.

The Americans for Restoring the Constitution host seminars on a number of constitutional issues.

On Thursday, they'll be at a gun rights rally in Albany.
