Police Investigating Alleged Armed Robbery

Binghamton police are investigating an alleged armed robbery  attempt at a CVS.

It happened at the store on West State Street at around 6:40 Saturday evening.

Police say a man in his 20s wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark colored pants and sneakers displayed what appeared to be a knife to the cashier. 

Police did not say if he made out with any cash.  Anyone with information is asked to call the Binghamton Police Department.
