Zoo Holds Adults Only Valentines Event

While many enjoy a dinner or buy flowers to celebrate Valentines Day, the Binghamton Zoo provides an alternative way to enjoy the holiday with your signifigant other. 

Although the zoo is closed for the winter months, it opens each year around Valentines Day for couples to take a private tour and learn about courtship displays and mating rituals of animals.

""It's wonderful!  It's great to see the look on people's faces when Erin shares her information with them. A lot of them are surprised.  A few of them are embarrassed.  We have a lot of red faces," says Caroline Jones, Special Projects Coordinator.

They say the popularity of "Courtship Tails" grows every year.  Of course, this tour is for adults only.
