Student Exchange Program

When you think of student exchange programs, you usually think of students from different countries visiting each others nations.  But how about an exchange between Binghamton high school students and Vestal?

Binghamton students played host on Wednesday. 15 Vestal students shadowed BHS students in class, and at school facilities such as the dance studio, black box theatre, and Palace Cafe. They also saw first-hand how Binghamton structures its programs:

"It's good for our community to see that we're moving forward trying to make efforts to make contact with other schools and show those other school that Binghamton High School is really one of the top schools in the county," said Gerald Eggleston, BHS Student Body President.

"It's an awesome and exciting opportunity to see how a neighboring school district works, to learn more about each other and bring the community together as a while," said VHS Student Body President Anna McCarthy.

The students say that in another few weeks, Binghamton students visit Vestal.
