Black History Month Exhibit
2/10/2013 (Updated 11:06:04 PM)
Every year during February the library hosts an exhibit with a new theme. This years theme was the re-election of Barack Obama and the historic link to Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. King was a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity and members of the area alumni chapter where there to take part in a discussion on the exhibit.
"It just seemed fitting with the re-election of President Obama that we pay some sort of tribute to Martin Luther King, who, in a lot of ways, provided the pathway for Barack Obama to be in the White House," said Scott Ottey, member of Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity.
The exhibit will be up throughout the month of February and is open to the public during library hours.
