Fracknation screening set for Sunday

BINGHAMTON -- People on the fence about fracking will have a chance to watch the new documentary Fracknation.
 
The Joint Landowners Coalition is holding a private screening of Phelim McLeer's documentary at Regal Cinemas at 2pm on Sunday.

Daniel Fitzsimmons, Coalition President, says many people, including law makers in Albany, are basing their negative opinions of fracking on the 2010 documentary GasLand, and Fracknation presents the truth about fracking.

"It actually dispels a lot of the misinformation that has been put out there," Fitzsimmons says.  "It has truths in there and it's time the truth came out about gas drilling.  The public needs to see that.  We feel very strongly that this is a really good documentary for people to see."
