Stuck Truck Problem Could be Freed

If you can't raise the bridge --- lower the road.

Do that, and you just might finally solve the stuck truck problem at the Front and Clinton Streets intersection.

It's one of the projects  brought up before the Binghamton Metropolitan Transportation Study Plannning Committee Thursday.

Binghamton can receive 100% federal funding for the project.

The road would be lowered to increase clearance underneath the Front Street railroad bridge.

Other projects discussed included a climate  vulnerability study, and updating the city's bicycle plan.
