Consumer Sentiment Down

Consumer sentiment in New York State is down for the second month in a row.

Sentiment dropped the most among democrats, those under 55, and lower-income New Yorkers.  The only group which enjoyed a rise in consumer sentiment were higher-income New Yorkers.
The second straight monthly drop comes after New Yorkers' consumer sentiment reached a five-year high last November.

New Yorkers are still more optimistic than pessimistic.
