Chemistry Magic at Vestal High School

"It's not just all these numbers and equations, but it does amount to something and it is interesting, whether they see the color change or explosions, they're excited by it," said Vestal Senior,  Zara Shah.

"I find this whole endeavor a win win situation because the high school students love doing the demonstrations and engender the love of chemistry to the younger students," said Chemistry teacher, Tracy Suggs.

"Myself, I think one of the biggest things for taking chemistry in high school was because of Chem. Magic. I remember these experiments and I remember being so excited by the reactions happening in front of me. It was definitely a big motivator when I got to the high school," said Zara Shah.

"Now that I see this I love chemistry now. I'm not a science person, I'm not that good but now I'm going to try my best in chemistry this was really, my best field trip ever," said Albana Berjasebic of Clayton Ave. Elementary.

"Doing the labs getting in there and mixing up the chemicals myself and seeing something happen by mixing solutions together and seeing what I'm creating by mixing different elements together," said Zara Shah.
