Top Tier Talent for BU Softball

VESTAL -- The Bearcats are excited to have their Southern Tier pipeline continue this season. BU brings in freshmen Savonna Connolly (Vestal) and Griffin McIver (Union-Endicott) to keep the local flavor alive on the team.

Head Coach Michelle Burrell is happy to have the girls around. She says, "The softball in this area is very strong and we like to keep as much of the talent here as we can."

Junior infielder Mikala King, a Chenango Valley alum, agrees, "We get people from their schools that want to come watch and any support we can get from the community is awesome and so it's exciting."

The Binghamton community can come out and support the Bearcats starting March 28, as the team spends its first five weeks on the road.
