Manager of Brackney Inn Pleas Guilty to Tax Charge

A sentencing day for the manager and operator of the Brackney Inn in Susquehanna County who admits to filing a false tax return.

Jacqueline MacBlane, of Binghamton, was sentenced in federal court to two years probation, 100 hours of community service, a 30-thousand dollar fine, and restitution of 78-thousand dollars.

MacBlane, admitted filing a false return in 2007, which substantially understated her adjusted gross and taxable income.

At least 150-thousand dollars in taxable income for 2007 was not reported, and at least 118-thousand dollars was not reported in 2006.
