Victim's Name Released in Fatal Accident in Afton

Police continue to investigate the fatal tractor trailer/car accident along Interstate 88 Monday in Afton:
 
31 year old Noel Pike of Nineveh was pronounced dead at the scene.  She was driving a Suzuki.

The driver of the tractor-trailer, Gary Dononvan of Johnson City is listed in critical condition.

Authorities say the accident happened when Pike lost control of the Suzuki while entering the on-ramp of I-88 at exit 7.

That's when it was struck  by the truck.

Two passangers in the Suzuki, including a four year old child sustained non-life threatening injuries.
