Endicott Officer Still Suspended

Published reports say an Endicott police officer remains suspended with pay, after allegedly threatening to shoot two youths last month.

As we've reported 52-year-old John Vanek of Endicott threatened a 17-year-old and a 20-year old who he thought had been running through his yard.  He allegedly threatened to beat their faces in, sick his dogs on them, and shoot them. An investigation later revealed the two had not trespassed.

Vanek plead not guilty to two misdemeanor counts of second degree menacing.  He is due back in court in April.
