Funeral Service Held For Owego Captain Matthew Porcari

OWEGO -- Hundreds attended the funeral service for fallen Owego Fire Captain Matthew Porcari on Sunday at Owego Middle School.

Porcari died on Monday while fighting a blaze at a Newark Valley home when the first floor gave way and he fell into the basement. 

During the service, family and friends shared their stories and memories of Porcari.  Firefighters then led a procession with Porcari's casket, carried by an Owego fire truck.
