Stove Sales Increase

As the temperatures drop, more people are hurrying to buy various types of stoves to keep warm.

The owner of  Tall Pines Farm in Kingsley, Pennsylvania says he has seen a large influx of customers since the cold weather began during the holidays.  He says this winter is much harsher than last year, so he is selling a lot more wood, gas, and pellet stoves.

"Last couple days have been really busy.  Lots of phone calls, lots of interest.  I don't want to say panic-buying, but real quick buying.  People are cold now and they want heat now," said George Conner, Tall Pines Farm President

Not surprisingly, Conner says he expects stove sales to slow down once spring comes in March.
