Libous Hoping for Hint of Fracking Support in Cuomo's State of Budget Address

Along with mandate relief and Upstate casino development which could include Tioga Downs, State Senator Tom Libous will have his ears open during Cuomo's budget address Monday for one other issue - fracking...
 
Governor Cuomo's State of the State address earlier this month made no reference to the  drilling process.

Libous, who supports  fracking, would like to hear at least some hint from the  governor that fracking should be allowed in New York State:

"Fracking. I would hope maybe we'll see signs of things in the DEC (Department of Environmental Conservation) budget that will talk about permitting as we head into the future," said Libous.
 
The DEC is still finalizing its Supplemental Generic Environmental Impact Statement - which would set regulations if fracking is allowed.
